Your skin type is largely genetically predisposed. But no matter what type of skin you have, you can make the best of it with loving treatments. In the coming months, our Healthy Living newsletter will offer easy to make, natural recipes for cleansers, masks scrubs and facial steams using essential oils.

The good news is that you don’t need to spend big dollars on expensive products in fancy packaging. These treatments can be made in your kitchen and stored in your own pretty containers.

Daily cleansing is possibly the most important part of your skin care routine. Your face is subjected to particles that clog the pores and make the skin look dull and lifeless, eg. oily fumes from traffic, dust and synthetic cosmetics. This recipe is a cleansing cream for dry, ageing and sensitive skin.
